Extremely Happy!

My son absolutely loves going to Sunshine Preschool, and we have been extremely happy with the care and service that provide. All of the staff are lovely, and the variety of stimulating and educational activity they provide for the children is exceptional, as well as lots of time to play and have fun.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Sunshines!

A friend recommended Sunshines when I was first looking for a preschool and both my sons went on to attend. They both settled in immediately and looked forward to going every day. I was very impressed with the knowledge, care and passion of the teachers. My children loved it and it prepared them greatly, both socially and educationally for “big” school. During my sons’ time at Sunshines, I opened Redcatch Community Garden and we have a fantastic partnership with Sunshines enabling the children to visit regularly and learn about growing and healthy eating.

Highly qualified, kind and warm staff

I have been very happy and confident in the care my daughter has received. Since starting Sunshines, she has been encouraged to make friends and play with others and we have seen a huge difference in her at home. She has also become really independent and can now put her own coat and shoes on. The staff are so caring, attentive warm and kind that I am thoroughly happy with my daughter’s time there.

We feel very much involved in her nursery experience

Staff are amazing at keeping us informed of what our daughter is up to via Tapestry, our online learning journal; we always get a good handover at pick up, and we’ve had several very informative parent meetings too with her key worker. Her key worker clearly knows her really well, and this has meant she has become much more confident in playing with other children, both at preschool and at home and she is showing lots of interest in recognising numbers and letters at home too. She just loves going to nursery, and we are so happy we chose this nursery for her.

Location and Session Times

St Martin’s, Knowle location and timings

St Martin’s House

Sessions available:  
Monday to Friday – full day or half day sessions. Term time only (for dates, please refer to Welcome Book)

Morning session:
You can arrive anytime between 8.30 and 9.15, and at the end of the session we need you to arrive at 11.55 (in order to leave by 12.00).

Afternoon session:
Please arrive at 12.30 and arrange to collect your child anytime between 3.15 and 4.00.

Full day session:
You can arrive anytime between 8.30 and 9.15, and arrange to collect your child anytime between 3.15 and 4.00.
